A good read but...

First things first,too short.
While I don't disagree with serialized novels I believe I can expect more than Kellogg/Jotz threw together.Leaving us on a cliffhanger you spent HALF the book discussing is a waste of my time.Step up to the plate and deliver.
PS I'll buy the next one but try to deliver on the promise.

The War Continues!

Book Three came just in time as I was getting worn out with the Soviets outsmarting us at every move. The action continues to be good backed by an excellent plot. The book could use a bit more proofing as things go, but it did not distract from the overall book to any great extent. I can't wait for book four so please hurry.

Enjoyable, believable, and overall a good read

I have enjoyed reading this series. The strength of the writer, as I see it, is in his extensive research and documentation, and his overall big picture of how the war plays out. It is a believable and realistic what-if scenario, and well thought through. There's enough suspense to keep you turning pages, whether you are a hardcore history buff or not.
The weakness, as others have mentioned, is that the poor level of editing can be distracting - at times, highly distracting. If budget is an issue, please at least re-read what you have written before hitting publish, and self-correct some of the most obvious typos. The accounts are occasionally disjointed, but the style has grown on me as I have read the series.
